Balloon Card Idea

Love truly does float in this colorful handmade Balloon Card! This one-of-a-kind card makes a wonderfully heartfelt gift that is as much fun to make as it is to give away. Create one for Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day or any other occasion you want to show your love.1. Choose your desired colors of paper to make the balloons. For this project, we used 8 different colored pieces of paper.2. Fold a 1" section of the paper over and cut a half heart shape, using the fold for the middle of the heart. Repeat with all sheets of paper until you have your desired number of hearts.3. Cut 9 lengths of floss. Determine where you would like your hearts to go on the card and position the strands of floss to come from the bottom of the card. Secure the end of the floss under each heart with a Glue Dot® and secure the heart over it with Glue Dots® as well. Repeat with all floss lengths and hearts.4. Gently pull the unattached ends of floss together and use the remaining length of floss to tie the ends together. Trim the uneven ends and secure the tied-together pieces with a Glue Dot®, finishing your project.
