Gold Fortune Fish Not Up to Par
Have (my friends and I) tried several of these gold fortune fishes and they do not respond to the warmth of your palm with the exception of curling sides - no moving head, moving tail, turning over, etc. Please bring back the "Old" fortune fish please!

Very poor quality
I have bought these Fortune Telling Fish for 15 years to use in my classes near Valentine's Day, to predict who is 'in love'. The new ones that came (WITH THE HEAVY GOLD WRITING) DO NOT WORK AT ALL!!! The previous model (WITH THE LIGHT GOLD WRITING) worked JUST FINE and were great! They need to go back to using the old model.

pretty but were not very reactive to body heat. Would get the plainer onces next time.
I ordered the upgraded fish with gold markings. They looked prettty byt were less reactive than the plain ones I previously ordered. Not as much fun as the plain ones.

Last 2 orders were bad :(
The last two orders of the fortune telling fish have been bad. Seems like the fish are cut wrong so they don't curl as they should (head and tail) or at all.

Really fun
I remember holding one of these as a kid. I loved it. I was excited to see these here. The fish all curl the same for everybody who has tried it though and reading the reviews here it seems like they all curl the same for everybody. I'm still planning on sending these in cards and maybe for people on Halloween. Hopefully they will curl different on a different day or something.

are the fotunes appropriate for elementary age children?

  • BEST ANSWER: The fortune outcomes are the following: Jealousy, Indifference, In Love, Fickle, False, Dead One and Passionate. These are one word fortunes and are given depending on how the fish responds when placed in the hand. The item would be better for older children due to the terms used.
