Students observe and record in a journal the growth, development, and metamorphosis of the twelve-spotted ladybug, from young larva to adult. Along with the journal activity, the kit provides 4 different learning units, ranging from development and life cycle to defensive strategies of ladybugs. The demo kit comes with 1 ladybug culture and is intended for the instructor to handle the ladybugs while providing observational activities for students. Kit also includes a 1-year single teacher subscription to access digital resources: reproducible teacher's manual, digital student worksheets, and graphics that can be used with interactive whiteboards and teacher presentation stations.
