Has anyone tried to float these particular ducks? What was the outcome?

BEST ANSWER: They DO float upright! In my previous review I posted that they didn't because, in the past , DIY ducks that I've bought haven't, but these ones do! And I got one of my ducks that I decorated with permanent marker and wet it. The marker stayed on if it just sat there, but then I scratched at it and it started to come off. So if you want to get them wet and you don't want the decoration to come off, I would definitely look at a sealer.
Are markers the best way to color these little guys, or what about any type of paint?

BEST ANSWER: I would recommend permanent markers. If paint is in the water too long, it may soften and come off easier. The marker may come off as well, but is less likely. The other option would be to spray your duck with some sort of sealant after you decorate it. Just check the label to make sure the sealant is safe for rubber/plastics!
