Cute, they are sturdier than I expected.
I order two bags of these cute little guys. No imperfections except one seemed thinner. They are better than I expected. There is a learning curve when decorating. Paint strokes will show. Stickers need gluing. Some paintings should be lightly coated with fixative. They are so much fun to decorate that I just ordered more.

kids loved it!
these were a hit at a party of a 7 yr old! we bought a whole bunch of permanent markers and they had fun coloring them in. they aren't the best quality, and probably not something you would use at home to play with it, but are fun to color in and "customize" however you want. i recommend if you love rubber duckies!

Very Satisfied
I ordered these ducks to use with a youth group lesson. They arrived much sooner than expected (Very impressed with their prompt arrival!). The youth LOVED them. They had a fun time personalizing their duck!

Great Gift to a Friend
I've gotta be honest - I haven't set eyes on this product in person. Taking advantage of the free shipping, I ordered and had them shipped to a friend who collects rubber duckies AND like to craft. Given her response to the surprise, I'd say they are a hit.

Has anyone tried to float these particular ducks? What was the outcome?
moonsmom | January 26th, 2019
  • BEST ANSWER: They DO float upright! In my previous review I posted that they didn't because, in the past , DIY ducks that I've bought haven't, but these ones do! And I got one of my ducks that I decorated with permanent marker and wet it. The marker stayed on if it just sat there, but then I scratched at it and it started to come off. So if you want to get them wet and you don't want the decoration to come off, I would definitely look at a sealer.

Are markers the best way to color these little guys, or what about any type of paint?
moonsmom | January 26th, 2019
  • BEST ANSWER: I would recommend permanent markers. If paint is in the water too long, it may soften and come off easier. The marker may come off as well, but is less likely. The other option would be to spray your duck with some sort of sealant after you decorate it. Just check the label to make sure the sealant is safe for rubber/plastics!
