Disappointing
Bought this for my two year olds party. Seemed like such a great idea for small kids. I’m not sure what was supposed to happen but I assumed the “wrong” strings would just easily snap off and then the right one would be magical. Well the kids couldn’t get any of the strings off the piñata and finally a bigger kid grabbed a handful and pulled the trap door off. To my dismay, none of the candy or tiny toys came out!!!! We had to shake it a bunch for a few pieces at a time to come out. Very poor setup. Can’t believe I wasted $20 on this. :( don’t buy!!!!!

It was so flop and kids were so excited. Firstly when we were filling the piñata we fad you cut and make sparse of our own to fill it. At the party the quality was so bad that pull string came out and didn’t work out. So we have to do manually. So kids were disappointed.

Great
I got this piñata for a 5 year old birthday and it worked out great! We did not pull the string but did the old fashioned way with a plastic baseball bat. Held up until the last two boys hit it open and candy flew everywhere. It was perfect.

What is the recommended amount of piñata filler that will fit in this piñata ?

  • BEST ANSWER: I bought a 250 peice bag of mixed chocolates like 3 muskateers, snickers, etc..they were mini sizes from Sams. I had more than enough candy. We had about 12 people that took candy.

I see that it comes with a hanger. I don’t have any trees out in the back yard so would I be able to do this without trees and just a hunger?
