I think was to much gold (brown) at the base and look like black inside the ring arund the cup.

Too Small
I bought these for a party but the size of the glasses are way too small. For that reason alone, I could not recommend them.

I actually used the glasses for my engagement party's desert station
the glasses were a beautiful touch to my desert station; however, the bottom would not stay on until I put some glue on the base to hold them in place. for the price they were nice.

Very disappointing!
Although these were beautiful looking glasses, they were WAY TOO SMALL! Even though it said they hold (I think) 8 or 9ozs they were just too small to use for water glasses for our wedding party. I will not be able to use them at all. Darn! Please somebody make these in a 14 oz size because they are beautiful for a plastic wine/water glass!
