Table runner looks great with a multitude of different table settings and holiday decorations. I used a lightweight towel over the runner to press the fold lines out with my steam iron.

Can’t get folds out
I like so many other reviewers had high hopes for this runner. Although it is good quality I have been laying books on this for a week and can’t get it to lay flat where it was folded in transit. Not sure if you can iron? Disappointing that it doesn’t lay flat.

Can these be washed?

  • BEST ANSWER: I have not personally washed it but I would think you could hand wash it and let it drip dry. You will probably need to iron it on the synthetics setting after it is dry to make it lay flat. Make sure to use a cotton cloth over the table runner while pressing it since the gold threads are likely to melt. If you feel this is too much work, or are afraid you will ruin the runner, I would try spot cleaning. I hope this helps.
