When I received them(I ordered 2 dozen) 8 were broken apart -no ball inside whistle. Didn't have enough for the treat bags i ordered them for.
When I received them, 8 of them were broken (I ordered 2 dozen). They were for treat bags for my daughters birthday party. The balls were missing out of them and some were missing the circle piece that holds the ball on the inside of the whistle. Obviously, I couldn't use them even though I bought them for the party because not every child would have one in their bag because I received broken ones instead of working ones.

Poorly made, but made noise
Some of the whistles were broken in the package. Some of the whistle's strings would not stay snapped closed. The ones that did not fall apart, did make noise which was their intent.

Cute but didn't stay on well
Super cute whistles but easily came off leaders necks any time someone touched it.

Terrible
My son won this at a school carnival. We had it put up for a few days until he could play with it outside, because obviously I don't want to hear a whistle in the house. He was playing with it for less than 5 minutes before he brought it in to me to 'fix'. I assumed he wanted me to take care of the string or something but that wasn't the case. The bead that is inside the whistle had come out! His whistle was still perfectly intact with no scratches or anything. My son is not to little to be playing with this toy & its not like he took it out himself, this is just a poorly made toy.

  • BEST ANSWER: No, they come in bags of 12. However, the stringe are bound lightly, so they are not tangled at all.
