BEST ANSWER: My grandkids ages 8 and 10 (boys were 8, girl was 10) enjoyed this craft. Grandma enjoyed it too!
I'd like to do this with a large group of kids- both boys and girls- and I'm not sure a lot of the boys would like doing the pink heart! So I'm trying to find other colors of foam with the same thickness. Thanks in advance!

BEST ANSWER: The foam is about 1/2" thick.
I know this question was asked, but the answer does not make much sense to me. Do the pins just stick out of the backside?

BEST ANSWER: This item is made of thick foam. You would push the pins through far enough that they would not stick out the backside. Due to the thickness the pins do stay in place on their own.
What does the back of the finished product look like? Do the pins stick out?

BEST ANSWER: The backside of the heart will be plain pink when completed. You do not push the pins all the way through. In order to loop the string around the pins stick out the front.
Does the string come in loops that you merely put around the pegs, or is it just one long string that is tied at the end?
