Gives you room that "Homey" feeling
I purchased the Vintage Collection Pennant Banners for my mother's 86th Birthday. I went with a "vintage" style theme. I LOVED it! I really liked the muted colors. It gives your room a "homey" feeling and it reminds you of the antique quilts your grandmother used to make. It is made of great quality cardboard and is heavier than expected. Transparent tape will not work when putting this up, so you will need to use tacks to secure it to the wall. I will use them again and again!

Perfect for the bar for the luncheon!
Yes, these are small - and because they are small they might not work well in some applications. However, I used these for the bar for our Mother's Day luncheon and they were perfect. Heavy card stock, double sided, and the cord stringing these together is heavy duty as well. These do match the rose garland also in the vintage collection so I was very pleased with that. We had lots of compliments on the little banner!

SO many uses!
These pennant banners are SO charming! They make me think of the quilts my Mother and Grandmother made. We're planning a big party for my Mother in law's 90th birthday and these will be perfect. I'm not sure yet exactly where I'll use them but have a feeling I'll wish I'd gotten more. The colors are soft and sweet and should last for many uses.

What material is the string part made of? Is it paper or actual string?

  • BEST ANSWER: It's string but the banners are paper / lightweight cardboard material. The banner is small and cheaply made in my opinion.

What are the actual measurements of the pennants? A lot of reviews are saying they are smaller than they were expecting.

  • BEST ANSWER: The pennants are 5" long. The triangle shapes are 3 1/4" wide and the other shapes are 2 1/2" wide.
