Horrendous
These were a huge disappointment. They were very difficult to put together, both for 4th graders and adults. The pieces broke and the plastic ripped extremely easily. Not a single one out of 24 were able to fly. It was a lot of frustration and kids were sad they couldn't put them together, much less use them. Absolute trash and not worth bothering.

Poor quality kites
The kites are very flimsy. It's made of a thin plastic material o which crayons nor markers stick so kids weren't really able to design their kite. Perhaps if they only used stickers. Instructions aren't very clear and every time the kite hit the ground, the sticks would fall off. With moderate winds, we still were not able to launch and fly the kites. Don't waste your money.

Bad product
This product was cheap but not worth the money I spent. There were three huge issues: 1. The instructions were so terribly written that it took two adults over 1/2 hour to figure it out, and we needed to use google. 2. The poles are made of some sort of weird material that sheds splinters. My son and i had dozens of invisible splinters in our hands until we figured out that we need to handle the kites with gloves. 3. They barely fly at all. The kids were pretty disappointed about that.

Pros and cons
I like the size of the kite. You can use crayons or sharpies on it. I tried markers but the just smeared and I also tried colored pencils but they didn't show up. The directions are lacking but the PDF from this site helped. The kites are for my Girl Scout troop so I've only opened one and on that one the long stick was about a half inch too short; I used tape to move the blue thing to the correct location. For what your getting it's a great price at just over $1 a kite.
