I purchased the swords to accompany the ninja costumes I got as the party favors for my son's 4th birthday party. When the party was winding down I had the kids put on their costume and gave out the swords. They played for about 5 minutes before the swords started to deflate. At least I was able to get a couple of pictures.

Nice to look at but that's it
Visually awesome and I thought a perfect favor for my 6 year olds birthday party. Easy to inflate but staying inflated proved to be a problem. With moderate manipulation by the kids they quickly lost their air. The capping mechanism needs improvement.

Great fun but a couple of duds in the pack
The first two I blew up had holes in them to the point that they wouldn't even inflate. Bu the other 10 thank goodness were fine (since I had 10 boys at the party) The manufacturer should really throw in at least one spare as a backup.
But my son loved them with the ninja goody boxes I had. Make a big visual impression.

Lasted longer than expected
I got these for my 2 year old's birthday party. He loved them, the kids loved them and some of the adults. I was expecting them to deflate by the end of the day. My kid plays rough so I'm shocked that most of them are still inflated a week later.

We could not get the air to stay in the swords so that they were blown up enough for the children to play with.

These swords are fun and good in size
They aren't super tiny, a good size for young hands. My son is turning 9 and these were the perfect size.

Arrived Torn and Damaged
I was very disappointed with this product. The day of my son's event, we blew them up for the kids to play with and the majority of them were torn, damaged and sliced so they could not be blown up or even attempted to be repaired in the manner that they were damaged. Needless to say there were many crying and upset children. The swords that weren't damaged were not the best quality either. They were flimsy and didn't stay erect no matter how much air you blew into them. I wasted my money and my son was disappointed that he and his friends couldn't all play swords. I would not recommend this product.

Horribly Disappointed
I was horribly disappointed in the inflatable swords. I bought 2 doz. for my grandsons birthday party and after inflating the first 12, 4 of the 12 would not hold air. That was a bit annoying, but I went on to open and fill the second 12 swords, only to find that 3 more would not hold air. Upset about the few swords that were usable for the party, we went without enough swords for the guests. Only to find, after the swords were played with for only minutes by the guests, all deflated. Every one of them! They were not misused, they were used to tap a floating, air filled balloon in the air, and keep it from reaching the ground. Not a difficult task for the sword as I see it. They were junk. A waste of my money. I shop with Oriental Trading both personally and through my business, but I will not order anything else inflatable, ever.

Didn't Even Make it Through the Party
My son was so excited to have these ninja swords for his birthday party. We ordered a dozen, and two of them popped before the party even started. Of the remaining 10, only 1 made it through to the end of the party, and that was only because my son took it and hid it in his room so no one could play with it. The kids had fun playing with them while they lasted, but they didn't turn out to be a great take-home party favor like I had hoped. These are not durable enough for 7-year-old boys to sword fight with.

good idea/poor quality
purchased for my son's bday party. LOVED the idea and the kids were all about them, but they would spring a leak within a few minutes.
