Won’t Stay Tied
We wanted to use the cord for our VBS program and have the kids make cross necklaces. When tying a knot in the end it would not stay tied. I tried multiple knots and they all came undone. The kids would not be able to tie the necklaces.

How can you tie this stretechy code, I need to buy a lot for my daisy girl scout troop but I can't seem to get it to stay tied

  • BEST ANSWER: I have not found a way to keep the rubber tied without an aid.. I invested in some little metal jewelry clips to fasten the ends together..

This is a perfect shower idea for a boy or girl AND it's gender neutral enough to work for the mom-to-be who doesn't know if the baby is a boy or a girl! When challenged by Oriental Trading to design an entire baby shower around their new collection of plates and umbrella themed napkins, it was obvious that the theme would be. I was inspired to use the creams, blues and tan colors found in the napkins as the baby shower's color palette. The napkins were printed with raindrops, umbrellas and rain boots so I decided to use those items as the main decor element of the shower's decor.
