The bird houses are small but sturdy. Children really enjoy playing with them and are extremely interested in painting them.

Tiny Houses for Small Hands
These little fairy houses (too small to be functional for birds) are the perfect size of project for my almost 7 yr old- they come solidly pre-assembled, and she thoroughly enjoyed painting them with her dad for Father’s Day. The different designs lend themselves to creativity. I am holding on to a few for gingerbread house projects this winter.

  • BEST ANSWER: They are made of wood so would become weathered. You would have to use waterproof paint and put a sealant over that.
