Extra Materials Required
As many of the things I've ordered from OT include everything needed, I made the assumption that this did as well. We discovered, on the morning we were planning to use them, that this craft required a watered down glue mixture. Thus unprepared, we had to scratch the project and improvise with the kids. We'll save it for next year and cut contact paper into the needed shape, rather than mess with creating a watered down glue concoction. I would hate to send kids back to their parents with their special Easter Sunday clothes covered in glue. You may consider including contact paper, or something like it, in future versions of this craft and others like it. It would be far less messy, and that way everything needed for the craft is included (which is why I ordered from you rather than creating my own stained glass crosses like I have done in years past - convenience).

Messy Project
This was a very messy project with glue everywhere. It turned out very lovely, but be prepared for a mess.

A perfect craft for Easter Sunday
As a worker in Children's Ministry I'm on the lookout for
activities and crafts that support lessons taught especially for a holiday celebration. This craft was colorful, age appropriate,
engaging, and a perfect activity to emphasize the Resurrection
Story. Because of a glue drying time, the craft was completed in two stages with the class beginning with the craft, then circling up for large group and teaching, and coming back to add the lettering and finishing touches. Thank you Oriental
Trading Company.

wont purchase this again!
Some acrylic pieces were crumpled. Some foam pieces were soiled. Even the tissue paper was different in some of them.

Could you not still use clear contact paper instead of the glue?

BEST ANSWER: Most contact paper is sticky on one side. The contact paper would need to be sticky on both sides. One side would need attached to the cross with some adhesive.
