Great for smaller kids!
I ordered these to give to our 4-6 yr olds at our Western-themed VBS. They fit the little ones great. I ordered some straw cowboy hats with a cross on the front for the 7-12 yr olds because the plastic hats didn't look like they would fit the older ones as well. The only drawback to the colorful plastic cowboy hats is that they have no elastic string so they fall off easily when the kids start running and playing. Other than that, the kids loved them and they were perfect for our theme!

They look like firemen hats
True to color, very vibrant and sturdy material. However, the kids said they look more like firemen hats than cowboy hats. Next time I will purchase the straw hats.

The 3 and 5 year old girls I bought these hats for were thrilled.I bought the bandanas and extra sheriff badges, so friends could play along as well. The bright colors are great and add to the world of imagination.

I ordered a set of these cowboy hats in order to get a smaller size for children under 5. These hats worked well, don't tear easily. Very bright pretty colors entice the little ones.

The hats were cheap but they were great for my 4 to7 year olds at childrens church

Should cost $.05, not almost $1
We love Oriental Trader and have ordered many items for the agency and ourselves many, many times. I realize that the cost of production and manufacture has increased, but charging almost $1 for these hats is ridiculous. When i first opened the packaging that the hats came in, I as please with the thickness and quality, then i realized that packaging had 12 hats, not one. These hats are so thin and flimsy, you can see through them and they will not keep their shape in any heat.
