I really liked the quilt squares as a group project. But, I would have liked more information on how to tie dye the squares. The picture in your catalogue showed the squares dyed and I attempted to tie dye them. The dye would not set. Not sure if the fabric was not conducive to dye or what but it created a bit of a mess. In the future, it would be nice if you included instructions on dying the squares with the order.

Kids love this project!
I ordered this once before and it turned out great. We had a lady to quilt it for the president of the organization. They loved it!
So, I ordered it again to make another project for kids that's coming up next week. We are printing a picture on each block so preschool kids can color them. This will make it easy for that age group for an idea they don't have to think about. I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out. I will let you know later.

Quilting not made easy
Just completed this project with VBS. Each square turned out really well. The markers did run so make sure the kids don't do very detailed things as it does not work out so well. Putting the project together with the supplies provided did not work. I ended up sewing it to make it lay flat an so that it could be hung up.

Needs bettter directions
I am in the process of putting this together. My class did the squares for a Veteran's Day gift to our local soldiers home. The outer corners are easy to link up. Where 4 squares meet becomes very difficult as there were NOT any directions as to how many ties to use, or the best way to do it.

Worked Out Great!
We used this craft for a vbs at a nursing home. The residents loved designing their own squares and the staff will display the quilt in a place where all residents will see it. It was one of the best crafts we've done at a nursing home!

Awesome Quilt!
This is a great product!! We drew and colored with fabric markers and they came out great. It was easy to tie the squares together to make the quilt. It also arrived a little sooner than expected so that was a huge plus! I definitely recommend it!
I tried attaching a picture of our finished product but it wasn't working well.

Great take-apart group project
I buy these quilts year after year to make banners for our Girl Scout Encampments. No, they do not QUILT well, but each girl can decorate a square with Sharpies or crayons, we can tie it together, hang it as a single banner, and take it apart at the end for each girl to have her own square. The ties are slinky, which make them a bit hard to get tied well, but they come UNTIED very easily. And the little girls love being able to take home their own square.

Disappointed
This fabric is shiny acrylic and does not hold fabric marker ink very well. For fabric meant to be decorated, not a great choice or quality. The ties are also slippery acrylic, so don’t stay tied very well. Wish I had heeded other reviews. Found something else that works better. Wish I could return, but needed to experiment on a square to see how it did.

Drawings bled
I used fabric markers and they bled after the kids finished t their drawings. Too bad. Other than that cute craft.
