These turned out to be more difficult than we anticipated. The youth who were doing them required assistance of our volunteers to complete them.We ended up letting them do the coloring and asking them to come back for the assembly process. They were cute when finished, though they did not spin on their own.

Worked well, mostly
Bought these for a birthday party. Everyone enjoyed them. They spin very well. Only problem was sometimes the straw handle would not fit into the other piece. It was only a few and we were able to force some by bending the straw tip a little.

Loved these!!
I can not stress enough what a hit these were! Kids enjoyed coloring them, and then putting them together and then enjoying them turn! Keot the kids busy for a bit which was great! Safe, fun activity! Highly recommended! I will def. order these again for my next kids event!
Side note- be sure to use MARKERS! These work best, as crayons don’t color as well. Washable markers are great!

Super easy, Super fun!
I'll be honest, I just love pinwheels. I really really really love pinwheels. These do not disappoint! To get them to spin perfectly, you need to put the front little bead on, and then put the front flaps onto the bead (this is the hardest part of assembly - and assembly is very easy so the fact that this makes you actually stop and do something seems to catch some people off guard).
I recommend markers, but you can use anything to color and decorate! I'm generally satisfied with the craft kits I've gotten, but this is definitely the best!

I would buy them again
I thought the pinwheels were incredibly cute - best to use markers not colored pencils. They were a little tricky to put together. But, we were fine once we mastered that. The only negative - they don't really work very well UNLESS you tape the middle portion. Then, they spin just fine. Bottom line - it takes a few tries to figure out the best way to assemble them but after that, they're good. Very cute and fun and the kids loved them!

first introduced to these at a campground as a project for the kids - went home ordered them for a graduation party that week - had a make & take table - all ages loved making one & taking one - one suggestion if it's not spinning just fold down more or pinch the wings down a little bit more

they work well
these kits worked really well. The only thing wrong is the directions. Don't put the twirler on the end clip as stated in the directions. Put it on the shaft. They are cardboard and take markers, paint and glitter very well.

Better than I imagined.......
I have been making pin wheels for various occasions and was having no luck in keeping myself in stock with the attachments. The price was competitive, but it was the colors and quantity available to me that encouraged my purchase from Oriental Trading. . . .my go to place from now on!
