44” is only 3ft tall. Why does the lady in the image look taller than 3ft? How tall does this board stand?

If i look closely, I can see fold lines in this. If it is painted, would the fold lines still be visible? How many folds is it folded into for shipment?

BEST ANSWER: hello RM, In the product description they explain that it is Cardboard. 44" x 73" Stand-ups are one-sided with a brown cardboard back. Simple assembly required. They hold up well leaning against a wall for support.
