I chose these glow in the dark springs because I thought they would be good to fill some of the eggs I was putting in my great nephew’s Easter basket. They were a big disappointment. All were stuck together and had to be broken apart. Once they were stretched out, they did not snap back into shape.And…they did NOT glow in the dark. A waste of money, and pretty much useless.

Cute, but breaks easily and possibly doesn't glow
The slinkies are cute, but they dont seem to glow in the dark as promoted, plus my son easily broke his by overstretching it. I expected better quality from OTC.

Stars, hearts, circles GLOWING !
These are one of the best slinky items that I have ever bought ! The price is great and they last forever. Just expose them to bright light; find a dark spot ( closet ) and enjoy the view. We toss them around and watch the colors passing in the dark. Each one has a different range of color and different shapes. I ALWAYS have these on hand! You should as well!!

Good glow, poor springiness
The main problem is that they're so small and short, you can't really do much with them. You can't wiggle them back and forth like a full-size Slinky--they don't have that characteristic compression wave motion. However, they do glow in the dark nicely, even the red parts, so they're still fun to wiggle around in the dark.
Each pack of 12 comes with 4 hearts, 4 stars, and 4 circles. The colors are very random--some are mostly one color, some run the full range from green to red. They do come a little bit stuck closed, but if you just pull the ends apart, they separate easily without breaking.

Exactly as described and works great!
We used these are favors for my daughter's Halloween party. They were a hit. While the different colors glow different amounts (orange doesn't glow as brightly as the green ones) it really wasn't a factor for the kids. Plus these aren't glow sticks, so you shouldn't expect them to light up the room. Once they figured out they glowed, they borrowed a flash light hand fun with them all over again.
They shipped stuck together so that they will not break or get bent, so I suggest gently pulling them apart before you set them out. Don't pull too hard or fast, I broke the first one when I did. It just made two smaller springs though haha. Highly recommend for the little ones when wanting an alternative to candy for any party favor or occasion.
