We filled these with colored popcorn for an event instead of cupcakes (just didn't use the little inserts). These were great with the little window so that the blue & white popcorn could be seen.
They are not heavy cardboard, so they take a little finesse to get some of the flaps into the slots without accidentally tearing them a little. Once you get the hang of how to do it, they're very easy to assemble.
Tip: fold on all the scored lines as you assemble. For example, if you try to close the lid without pre-folding it, you will likely end up with a deformed box. Make it easier on yourself and don't try to rush by skipping any of the pre-folds.
We chose to seal the boxes closed with round 2" labels that we custom-printed and they looked great.

look nice wish they stayed together better and the bottom stayed in place
The sides of the box did not stay together. There is no 'lip' or extra indentation on the tabs that slide in to lock it into place. If you would like the box to stay closed you'll need secure it; thankfully I had also bought stickers. The cardboard piece in the bottom slid up in route & the cupcakes slid underneath damaging the icing & some tipped over completely. The boxes are tall enough for full icing &/or toppers & wide cupcakes. Without the insert 3 fit in the box snugly but easily.

Helps make someone's day special!
I make birthday cupcakes for guests who eat at a feeding ministry. Putting the cupcakes in a decorative box makes it a little more special. I've bought many of the colors and have been happy with all my purchases. The sticker on the box are also from Oriental Trading.

I have used these cupcake boxes many times for cupcakes, cookies, mini cakes, etc. There is a wide range of colors to choose from. I have used the boxes at baby/bridal showers so the guests may take goodies home - everyone is so impressed that someone thought to bring boxes. These boxes are so easy to assemble.

Great cupcake boxes
This is great! Cute and a good price. Slightly annoying to fold, but they held their shape pretty well with some tape. Would recommend for sure.

Good price, looks great, cheaply made
The cupcake boxes were a great price but they would rip when trying to put them together. There is an insert to put inside the boxes to hold the cupcake in place. The hole is bigger than a regular cupcake so it truly doesn’t hold it in place.

Best purchase ever at Oriental Trading!
I *love* these little boxes! these are perfect for informal cookie and muffin sharing with neighbors and friends. not too elaborate, but fun to open and makes giving a few cookies feel special. Not oversized, so just a few cookies in cupcake frills look pretty. 10 seconds to fold the box into shape and the quality is just fine--
