Just what I wanted
It's hard for little kids to remember to turn off their light-up toys and so batteries run out quickly. I wanted something for Halloween that was cute and wouldn't stay on. This is it! It is a little difficult to squeeze but my relatives aged 4 to 8 were all able to figure it out. I also like that these have a fastener that can pop open for safety but stays together unless you pull super hard.

The kids loved them but I was under the impression that they would stay on. They are more like a flashlight. Still good for when they are trick or treating at night

Cute, but lights don't stay on
I ordered these to give out at our city's Community Night Out, thinking they would be good as trick or treating safety lights. They are really cute, but I didn't realize that the description that they "flash a bright white light when pressed" meant that they do not stay on on their own. They turn off if you are not pressing the button down. Not really sure what the point of a light-up necklace that doesn't stay lit is. I did use them as impromptu flashlights when it got dark.
