Price was great for product. Tool used for scratching didn’t work great. Had to have it at just tge right angle. Frustrating for adults who created samples. Difficult for children.

Easy, no mess fun
I purchased these as a craft project for a Santa Party with tons of kids of all ages. They made very little mess (just some black scratchings) and the kids really enjoyed making them. A couple moms said the scratching noise was annoying, but most thought they were fun and reminded them of when they were in school and did art projects like this. I'd definitely buy them again!

Kids liked it
My K-3 students were able to do this craft independently. I did show examples and model, but most kids wanted to scratch all the black wax off to reveal the rainbow stripes. This is good scratch off paper and it seems pretty impossible for the kids to scratch too hard beyond the rainbow printing. One of my mittens already was scratched off a bit from rubbing against the others. It made the kids happy, but I wouldn't have paid so much if I knew they were going to just scratch all the black wax off. The price is a bit high to me for what you get, but it is a solid product.

A lot of fun
The mittens were a lot of fun to design. There are bright colors under the black mitten to scratch and multiple colors of string to hang up. Great fun for all ages!

Magic Color Scratch Mittens/Penguins
This was purchased for a team building event for the staff. All in all folks loved the scratch offs. We had great participation because folks did not have to do much and they liked the outcome. I was asked many times where I got the supplies. People wanted to order this themselves for the holidays as a craft for their family to do together or to give as a gift.

So fun for all ages
We gave these to all our Elementary school participants in an art contest. The kids loved them! They were such a hit, and when my own boys brought theirs home, my 3 year old son loved doing a bit of theirs too. Simple, unique and they make a cute ornament.

A fun project - back by popular demand
We have used these for class parties several years in a row now. They're easy and fun, and the kids LOVE them - they've even asked for them again in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade!
A word of caution: not everyone understands the concept at first, and quite a few kids made mistakes, so be sure to order enough for everyone to have at least two.
They also tend to scratch off over time as they're stored, so be sure the kids/parents understand that they need to be wrapped and protected. We're tempted to try spraying them with something like hair spray to see if we can lock in the materials that aren't scratched off in order to preserve the art, but haven't tried that yet.
