Well Read Duck!
I have purchased many rubber ducks over the years, I have been disappointed in the past with the paint on the ducks. Well is seems Oriental Trading has stepped up their game, I dot know where the ducks are being produced but the quality as of 2021 is a HUGE improvement!!!!! I am a returning customer. The reading ducks are for all ages, I lan on hiding them in the library on a cruise ship and maybe the public library... now there's a thought

cute! I use them as a reading reward in school!
I have ordered these before and they are great! Unfortunately, this time the genre of the book for the adventure duck was stamped as romance. I know romance can be an adventure, but don't know how many kids will choose that one as their prize duck! Though funny, they may end up being leftovers in my classroom. I haven't decided if I will go through the trouble of sending them back and may just see what happens... kids do love them as a reward for reading a certain amount of books.

My kids love the ducks; they're great reading prizes. The paint isn't always in the right places, and has some imperfections, but I would still recommend them. They're cute, encourage reading, and they're at a great price!

Needs more girl duckies!
I bought these for a going away party I was giving myself after resigning from my library position. They are very cute (kawaii!!) BUT there's only one set of girl duckies, and they're reading romance novels... There are 4 kinds of duckies: romance, mystery, adventure and science fiction. The mystery duckies could have been girls (Agatha Christie, Miss Marple, Prime Suspect, etc. etc.) but, okay... Anyway, they're still cute. They will be used as give aways for answers to trivia.

Fun incentive
I allow my kids to choose a reading rubber duckie as their birthday present from their English teacher. It's always fun for them-- and always a surprise to me to see which ones they pick!
