I bought a few bags to give out for Halloween and the kids were really excited. They are a large realistic size, color and shape. Some of them were melted but most of them were fine. They don't have a really strong root beer flavor, but the flavor is there and they are flat on the bottom so they would be perfect for placing on a cake or for decorations in general.

Great worms
The worms went on the tops of dirt pudding that also had realistic rocks on them. The worms were very realistic and a huge hit with the kids.

Awful flavor
We bought these for our Halloween party and were very disappointed. The flavor was awful and no children or adults liked them so we ended up throwing them in the trash. Huge waste of money. Do not recommend.

The gummy worms are gonna be great for the "dirt" cake critters, They're long and slimy and taste like strawberry. They will be placed in the cake to look like they're coming out of the ground-best find yet to accomplish realistic appearances to haunt even the squeamish!

Looks real, tastes bad
These worms look real. They would be great for decorating a Halloween theme. The taste, however, is really bad. My husband and brother-in-law, who both love root beer, tried them and ended up spitting them out. They said the worms had a really bad aftertaste. They usually will eat anything, so it must be bad for them to spit them out.

Taste is terrible. Most look like real worms though.
The taste is awful compared to our purchase 2 years ago. It's less like root beer and more like the fake wax teeth/lips kids have at halloween. Most were realistic and looked like earthworms. They'll work great for Halloween food props.

Realistic looking and a good root beer flavor. Perfect for our kids' fishing derby gift bags. I was happy I had extra worms bc the kids were so excited when they saw them, they loved them and came back for more!

not totally useless
Packaging greasy both inside and out. Disappointed... I was planning to attach them with a hook still wrapped on to a Bobber Sucker that I had also purchased from OTC. Yuck ! However, I made it work anyway. The worms were on clearance maybe that's why... I'll be more careful in my selection of clearance items in the future

Look awesome - taste horrible
This was another item I purchased for my son's birthday and the kids thought they looked awesome, but said they tasted horrible. Great idea, but wish they were better quality.

Fun gummies
These gummy worms are loads of fun. They are rootbeer and the color is such that it makes people look twice. Being individually wrapped makes it a fun treat to pass around.
