These mints were supposed to be the kind that melt in your mouth. I was very disappointed because they tasted stale & were very hard.

I guess I am always looking for the old-fashioned taste of Peppermint candies. I have to say this one comes pretty close.

Would not purchase this product again
I bought this candy for goody bags. The first thing was that it looked old and the colors were faded. When we tasted one the taste was horrible. Would not purchase again.

Yummy soft. SCRIPTURE QUOTES that are PROFOUND MESSAGES
These "Scripture Candy-Old Fashioned Soft Mints" with "JESUS" also on the label ARE: YUMMY, Melt in mouth, white & red, each individually wrapped (like all OTC mints & MOST candy), spherical (not like holiday candy cane shape so use year-round), give fresh peppermint breath, & MOST OF ALL - STRONG MESSAGES OF PROFOUND BIBLICAL SCRIPTURE QUOTES w/ Bible reference. Very similar profound scripture quotes like the famous OTC "Testamints" (which have 2 mints per individually wrapped pack & come in spearmint or peppermint). MY LOT WAS SOFT, MELT IN YOUR MOUTH, NOT LIKE ANOTHER REVIEWER (whose mints were hard), I GUESS I GOT LUCKY. I AM ORDERING MORE FOR THE PROFOUND BIBLICAL SCRIPTURES & word "Jesus" on each wrap. Note- they only have 58 mints per bag/unit, unlike the other mint types which have more per unit. If you like "peppermint" flavor, these are not as strong peppermint as the Testamints & similar in strength of flavor as the OTC "Faith buttermints" (& all OTC buttermints), MY buttermints this year were harder than these "old-fashioned soft mints" or the OTC "Santa sweet creams" that say "Merry Christmas". Compare all OTC "Sweet Creams," (my personal favorite flavors & tastes - strawberry, orange, or raspberry) which are about as soft as this lot of these Jesus "scripture old-fashioned soft mints." I AM SUPREMELY GLAD I FOUND THESE FOR YEAR ROUND USE! THANKS OTC for another RELIGIOUS HIT!

HARD MINTS
If you want soft mints DO NOT BUY THESE. They are the hard kind! Got these last year because the descriptor stated "SOFT MINTS" AND oriental trading had a year to correct that and chose to continue with their lie. Got them this year because I hoped they were soft, Boy was I wrong.
