  • BEST ANSWER: A cup would fit nicely. I took a picture with a cup of split peas in the cup (didn't have anything else readily available) to give you an idea of what these little buckets will hold.

  • BEST ANSWER: I am washing the buckets and utensils thoroughly with hot, soapy water and planning to put crackers, candies, etc. in them. I do not know why they cannot handle food products.
