I bought these for my students, we have a field trip to an ocean themed concert. I wanted them all to have matching hats/visors. I expected these to be all foam, however I was pleasantly surprised to find then have a cloth like layer over the top. I was able to paint them easily, and add the embellishments I wanted to make the most adorable visors! I also used some felt fish and glow in the dark pony beads bought from OT. MY students LOVE them!

Great idea for kids
These were purchased for our Kindergarten end of year Field Day event. The children used crayons or markers to color them. The markers rubbed off on the kids but the crayons did a great job and were easier to use. All the kids enjoyed both decorating and wearing the visors. Some assembly was required but it was not too difficult.

What you see in the picture is not how they come.
I bought 500 of these visors for our Sunday School Summer Kickoff. In the picture they show the coil hooked on both sides. When they arrived, the coil is only attached on one side. The hole in the other side to push the coil through is the size of a needle. I am going to have to improvise with a tool to finish making all of these myself. No way a child can do this.
I think its a fun activity but be prepared to put extra time in for the craft.

Lots of bad pieces
Over half of our order were either dirty or damaged. I was able to pick through and find enough for my son's party but was hoping to be able to keep the rest. Instead will be throwing them away.
