We’ve all sat through our fair share of blah bridal shower games. If you’re hosting a bridal shower, you need to keep the event moving and keep everyone engaged. No one wants to see their guests attention spans waning, or last luster participation in the games you do have. So with this list say goodbye to so-so parties with these 11 bridal shower games that are big fun for brides and guests alike!
Put a wedding twist on traditional bingo with a bridal-themed edition! There are many different ways to structure the game, including using B-R-I-D-E in place of B-I-N-G-O across the top, having guests fill in what they think the bride will receive as gifts ahead of time (pictured), or buying or printing pre-filled cards with wedding-related words and/or images. (PS: Make sure you have plenty of colorful bingo chips on hand.)

Ask the bride and groom a series of questions, such as how many children they want, pet peeves, favorite date, nicknames for each other, and what attracted them to the other when they met. Have guests guess whether the response was from the bride, groom, or both. Add an interactive element by handing out mustaches and lips for guests to hold up depending on the answer!

Have each guest write down either how they met the bride, their favorite memory with her, or a piece of marriage advice. Then, have the bride read each one aloud and try to guess who wrote it. Use pretty paper so the bride can save them as a keepsake.

Interview the bride ahead of time, then ask guests to guess her answers. Possible questions include her age, middle name, birthday, eye color, and favorites like food, drink, and color.

Have guests “help” tell the story of the bridal shower by filling in the blanks on pre-printed cards. Get everyone laughing by having guests read their answers aloud! (Note: There are also versions for other wedding-related events, including how they met, the rehearsal, and the wedding day itself.)

The person with the most correct answers wins. Not only does it his make for a fun game; it’s also a great way to celebrate some of the bride’s fondest memories!

Create your own or use a pre-made printable that asks guests to match up celebrities with their (current or former) significant others. Think: Beyonce and Jay-Z, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, and Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. This activity just might reveal a closeted celebrity gossip guru!

Ask the groom a series of questions about the bride on-camera before the shower. At the party, play the question, then pause. Have the bride and guests guess the answer aloud. Then, play the answer and see if the audience was right.

When guests arrive, give them an accessory to wear (such as costume-y rings or necklaces). Ban a common wedding word such as “bride” or even “wedding” itself. Every time someone slips up and says it, the person who notices takes one of their accessories. The person with the most accessories at the end of the party wins!
