We've created 3 simple & chic DIY Valentine's Day signs to prove beautiful home decor doesn't have to be complicated or break the bank! Our decor represents more of a traditional Valentine's Day color scheme, but you can easily mix it up to fit your existing decor. See how we turned a few of our very favorite items into show show stopping signs below!
To create the first sign, begin by painting the flat side of a DIY Unfinished Wood Box Frame with light pink paint. Once the paint on the front has dried, paint the outer sides with a darker shade of pink paint.
Next, paint a Mini Foam Heart Wreath with red paint until you achieve a fully opaque finish. Once the paint on the heart wreath has dried, apply hot glue to the back side to adhere it to the center of the painted DIY Unfinished Wood Box Frame.
The second sign will be created using two DIY Slat Signs. Start by coating the two signs in the same light pink paint used for painting the first sign.
Now detach the letters X and O from the backing from the Jumbo Bulletin Board Letters pack. Paint both letters with dark pink paint.
For the final sign, begin by painting the front side of a DIY Unfinished Wood Box Frame with white paint. Once the paint on the front has dried, paint the outer sides with a medium shade of pink paint.
Count out 25 DIY Unfinished Wood Heart Shaped Beads and separate them into five piles of five beads. Mix small amounts white, pink and red paint together in Mini Clear Appetizer Plastic Bowls to achieve five varying shades of paint from light pink to red. Paint each set of five beads with one shade of each of the paints.
Measure to find the center of the sign and then use a small dab of hot glue to adhere one of the light pink beads to the top middle of the painted DIY Unfinished Wood Box Frame. Continue adding the beads to the sign in straight rows from the lightest pink at the top to the red beads at the bottom.
Finally, style a mantle or shelf with your newly created signs along with white vases filled with a mix of flowers, red roses and Valentine Glitter Heart Picks and Mini Disco Ball Ornaments to decorate your home for Valentine's Day!
