1
To create the planets with rings, cut out the middle of an 18” paper lantern by tracing a 12" lantern and cutting just inside the line. It is helpful to use wire cutters to cut through the lantern rims.

Assemble the 12” paper lantern and insert the lantern into the hole of the 18” unassembled lantern.

Use paint to embellish the lanterns.

Hang as desired.
