Create this simple Baby's First Piggy Bank for the mother-to-be at the next baby shower you throw. Each of your guests can add a few coins to the bank so a little savings for baby can be started! Follow these simple steps to get started!
Take your DIY Ceramic Elephant Bank and add 2-3 coats of Pink Paint. Allow each coat to dry before adding another. We used a Foam Paint Brush for most of the Elephant Bank and then a smaller paintbrush for the more intricate spaces.
Once the paint has dried, you can grab the Black Chalk Marker and write your message on the large, center section of the elephant. We chose to write “My 1st Bank” but you could also write the baby’s name or a special message of warm wishes. No matter the message, it will be greatly appreciated by the mommy-to-be and her new bundle of joy!
Next, dip a different paintbrush into the Mod Podge and carefully dab it onto the back of the Silver Heart Confetti. Place each piece of Confetti onto the painted Elephant Bank, avoiding the section with your message.
