Throwing a wine tasting party is always a good idea. Keeping your guests in the dark about the varietal and brand being tested is an even better idea! It’s like The Voice for wine tasting! These bottle covers are super easy to make and since they are super cheap, you can toss them in the trash at the end of your event and not feel bad at all! Use this idea for a unique Wine Tasting Bachelorette Party. Cheers!
Measure a rectangle on the black kraft paper that measures 24″ x 6″ and cut it out. Fold in half.
Place glue along the long sides, leaving 2″ free towards the folded end. Fold back together to create a “bag”.
When the glue has dried, trim away the excess paper on each of the edges.
Poof the “bag” open and insert a bottle of wine.
Set it down on a table and let the bottom fold outwards. Then trim away the excess paper.
Write a number for each bottle of wine on the cute little black and gold name tags using a gold Sharpie.
Then add to each bottle bag (they are sticky-backed!) and finish with a bow!
Display at your wine tasting event, only to reveal the label and varietal at the very end of the tasting, when all guests have identified their favorite taste – blindly!
