When my little girl requested a Beauty Shop Birthday Party, I first considered taking them to a salon or spa. Once I priced that out I was like, yeah…no. Instead, I devised a plan to transform my home into a little girl’s birthday spa. I broke up the room into little Spa Stations and it was a 5-year-old’s dream come true!
First stop, the Manicure and Pedicure Station. On my coffee table, I set out a tray with nail polish, nail stickers, nail dryer spray, polish remover, these adorable Toe Separators, cotton swabs, and baby wipes.
I broke the space up into to different spots: a manicure chair and a love seat for pedicures. I laid out just plain white towels and fur throws to make it feel a bit luxurious.
I used these Neon Storage Tubs filled with warm water for pedicures. It really did feel like a little spa! Rather than let each little girl do their own nails (um, no way!) I enlisted the help of some teens from my neighborhood, and friends. We tried to treat each girl like a spa client and they felt so fancy schmancy!
Next up was hair and makeup. I put out combs, hairspray, water bottle, bobby pins, elastics, and the awesome braid hair extensions and long hair extensions for the girls to choose from. The extensions were a favorite for the girls! I also put out sparkle eye shadow and sheer lip gloss.
The little ladies felt so special for my little one’s birthday celebration! I think this party would be so fun even as a play date. Just look at these adorable pampered faces!
