No birthday party is complete without a fun party favor for the kids. Have you heard of surprise balls? It is a family tradition for birthdays at our house. So we wanted to share some of our tradition with my daughter’s friends at her party. The joy you get from unwrapping a surprise is so delightful! One surprise after another – candy, tattoos, mini toys!
Place a toy in your hand and tape the end of crepe paper to the toy.
Wrap the crepe paper around and around until the toy is completely covered. Add another candy piece or toy. Keep wrapping. Try and leave the smaller flatter pieces for the end. Keep wrapping until you get a true ball shape. Tape or glue the end.
You could add ribbon or stickers to the surprise crepe balls as well.
