Bzzz goes the bee! Join Ella and Annie in creating this adorable paper plate bumble bee craft. This is the perfect craft for spring and easy for kids of all ages. Kids can paint, use crayons or markers to color their bee. All you need is some white paper plates, coloring tools and some glue to get started! Make the bee come to life with our silly googly eyes and pink foam hearts; you can even add some glitter for a little sparkle.

With yellow acrylic paint, paint the bottom part of the paper plate yellow.

Using a dip and dotter, paint the bumble bee stripes with black acrylic paint in a line across the plate.

Grab a small bowl from your kitchen and trace a circle on black craft foam for the bee's head. Cut out a small triangle for the stinger and two black antennas. Hot glue the head, on the front of the bee's body. Attach the stinger and antennas on the back of the bee's body as shown.

You can use white Elmer's® glue, it just takes longer to dry.

Glue on googly eyes and a pink foam heart for the nose.

Fold a piece of white card stock in half, cut a heart from the fold of the white paper. Repeat and then glue both heart wings on the back of the paper plate as pictured.
