Create these EASY Chocolate Candy Cane Heart Suckers to match your Nordic Inspired Gingerbread Party! They can be wrapped with cellophane and saved for a fun party favor or put on display and eaten as a yummy party treat. Made with just a few ingredients, these heart suckers are a perfect way to bring some festive cheer to your holiday party.
Unwrap the mini candy canes and use two canes to create a heart. Place a baking stick in the middle of the heart to serve as the sucker stick. Repeat depending on how many suckers you'd like to make.
Place your melting chocolate in a microwavable bowl. Melt the chocolate in 30 second intervals until the chocolate is 100% melted.
Using a small spoon, place a dab of melted chocolate in the middle of the candy cane hearts. Spread the chocolate around until the heart is completely filled.
While the chocolate is melted, place sprinkles and chocolate candies in the middle of the heart. Let cool for about 15 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened.
Once the chocolate has cooled, tie a string of yarn and a string of baker's twine around the sucker. Tie a square knot.
Hot glue a white pom-pom on top of the yarn and twine knot. Let cool and you are ready to serve or wrap as a party favor.
