Let this cute little caterpillar inch his way to your heart! Ella and Annie crafted this sparkly caterpillar with white paper plates, paint, sequins and craft foam. Fun for kids of all ages and the perfect craft for teaching the life cycle of the beautiful butterfly. Create a red, green or even rainbow caterpillar and go crazy with fabulous embellishments. My girls love the bling, as do most so anything glitter will do!
Paint the back of the white paper plate with green acrylic paint.
Cut the paper plate in half and on one of the halves, cut out a half circle leaving the rim of the paper plate.
With a drinking glass or small round cup, trace a circle onto yellow craft foam. Cut out the circle and glue onto one end of the green paper plate.
Cut two green antennas from the green craft foam and glue onto the back of the caterpillar's head. Attach two small googly eyes and an orange craft button for the face of the caterpillar.
