Start by painting the foam pumpkin. Using a foam brush, paint the top half of the pumpkin with green paint. Once the top half is completely painted, then paint the bottom half of the pumpkin with black paint.
Using a rounded foam brush and the green paint, dab the "bubbles" between the green and black paint.
Using a straw, blow the mixture into bubbles.
Dip the painted pumpkin into the bubble and paint mixture, then let dry.
Use the wood spools and attach them to the pumpkin using hot glue. Once the glue has dried, paint the spools black.
Embellish the pumpkin with plastic spiders. Attach the spiders using hot glue.
