Jello shots are a fun alternative to shots at your next bachelorette party or bridal shower! For the most part, they are easy to make, but keep reading to see where I screwed up! You can make them in a variety of colors and flavors too. We topped our jello shots with colorful crystal sprinkles. These jello shots tasted amazing too.
- 1 3/4 c. Champagne (divided)
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 3 Envelopes of Gelatin Packets
- 1 Box Flavored Jello of your Choice (I used Strawberry)
- 1 Container Sugar Crystal Sprinkles
Combine 2 Tbsp. of lemon juice with 1 1/4 c. of your champagne. Add in 1 Tbsp. sugar.
In a small saucepan, add your sugar and your champagne mixture.
Sprinkle your gelatin packets on top. Allow your gelatin to bloom for 3-5 minutes.
Heat your gelatin over medium to low heat until your gelatin dissolves all the way. Remove it from the heat and add in your remaining 1/2 c. champagne.
Spray your pan and pour in gelatin. Allow to cool and firm for 2 hours in refrigerator.
Make your other flavored jello. Pour on top of the first layer and allow to set for several hours.
Slice jello, add crystal sprinkles and a clear mini appetizer fork.
