Snacking on good food while watching the big game is a must. All season long you’ve been cheering on your favorite team and now it’s time for the top teams to battle it out on the field. Don’t spoil the fun with boring chips and dip, make a pot of this Cheesy Chili Dip and score big at your football celebration!
- 1 lb. Velveeta Cheese
- 1 lb. Ground Pork Sausage
- 1 Tbsp. Chipotle Chili Seasoning
- ¼ t. Cayenne Pepper
- 1 14-oz. Can Black Beans, Rinsed
- 1½ c. Salsa
- Fresh Cilantro
Put the Velveeta and a cup of the salsa in a Crockpot and turn it on to start melting the cheese. Meanwhile in a large skillet, brown the sausage until golden brown and crumbled into small pieces. Drain off excess oil. Add the taco seasoning and cayenne pepper.
Once the cheese has started to melt add the remaining salsa, black beans, sausage and cilantro, mix thoroughly.
Continue cooking on low until all the cheese is melted and the dip is a thick consistency, like chili.
Top with cilantro, chipotle chili seasoning, and cayenne pepper.
