Carefully remove the plastic stems from the Fall Foam Pumpkins. Now they're ready to paint. Here's a great tip: to make painting easier, insert a bamboo skewer into the foam pumpkin and use a flat-bristled paint brush to apply a coat or two of acrylic paint. Place the skewered pumpkin into a tall vase to dry.

Once the paint is dry, hot glue the plastic pumpkin stems back into place. Paint the plastic pumpkin stems with gold acrylic paint and allow time for the paint to dry. Repeat to create the following: 6-8 bright blue pumpkins, 8-10 rustic orange pumpkins, 6-8 navy blue pumpkins, 8-10 bright white pumpkins. Note: Do not replace the stems on the white pumpkins yet.

Apply a layer of Mod Podge® Matte Acrylic Sealer onto a bright white painted pumpkin. While the Mod Podge® is still wet, carefully apply the cut napkin strips all the way around the pumpkin, trimming off any excess napkin.

Apply a second coat of Mod Podge® over the entire pumpkin to seal the napkin. Once the Mod Podge® is dry, use hot glue to replace the plastic pumpkin stems. Paint the plastic pumpkin stems with gold acrylic paint and allow time for the paint to dry. Use hot glue to adhere the finished pumpkins to the painted wreath form, leaving the back of the wreath form free from pumpkins. This will ensure the wreath hangs flat.
