I love when I find an opportunity to combine two unexpected craft supplies to create something new. I used bible journaling rub-ons to create pretty floral designs on these ceramic bird vases to kick them up a notch. The rub-ons create the perfect “color-your-own” base to further decorate with colored pencils or markers. Such a fun craft project, and such pretty results!
Cut out the design you would like to use from the Bible Journaling Rub-Ons. Remove the backing and position the design where you want it to be on the bird planter. Carefully hold the design in place while you use the popsicle stick to rub all over it and transfer it to the planter. The curved design of the bird makes it a little challenging but the design will still transfer easily as long as you hold it in place!
Remove the plastic cover to reveal your design! Use your finger to smooth down any raised parts of the design if needed.
Decorate your design using colored pencils.
Fill the vase with faux baby’s breath or small succulents.
