I love taking an everyday item like clothespins and turning them into a beautiful piece of décor for my home. Clothespin wreaths are fun to make, and I promise once you've made one, you'll want to make more! Check out this summer bucket list wreath you can make with your extra clothespins.

You will need two packages of 50-count clothespins to make the wreath. Start by clipping clothespins to the two outer rings of a 12" wreath frame. Space the clothespins out so that there are 10 in each of the quadrants of the wreath frame for a total of 40 clothespins around the frame. Be sure to clip each clothespin onto both of the outer rings. This will help hold them firmly in place.

Carefully paint the tops of the clothespins with craft paint and a foam brush. Use the narrow edge of the foam brush to prevent painting outside of the clothespins. Alternate between a dark green and light green color. Painting just the top of the clothespins while they are already clipping onto the wreath makes the painting process fast and easy!

Add another round of 40 clothespins by clipping them on the inner two rings of the wreath frame. Paint the clothespins, alternating between a dark pink and light pink.

Paint wood letters to spell a short word to hang in the middle of the wreath such as "HELLO".

Glue the letters to a length of baker's twine. Gluing the twine to the top part of the letters helps them lay flat when hanging. Tie the ends of the twine around the wire frame to allow the word to hang from the center of the wreath. Trim any excess twine as needed.
