Put the wrapped red swirl candies, cocoa powder, and mini marshmallows each into their own small round storage container. Be sure to package the cocoa powder and mini mallows in mini clear treat bags as the storage containers are not food-safe. The treat bags also make it easier to take out the food items in order to prepare the hot chocolate treat! Close the treat bags with some festive washi tape.
Replace the lids on the containers and hot glue them together in the following order: red swirl candies on the bottom, cocoa in the middle and mini marshmallows on the top.
Adhere a snowman face sticker to the top container.
Cut a 10” length of 1.5” wide ribbon and tie it around the snowman neck.
Use a bowl or any 4” round object to trace a circle onto black craft foam and cut out. This will serve as the brim to the snowman hat.
To complete the hat, use the lid of one of the containers to trace a circle onto the black craft foam. Cut out the circle and cut a strip of craft foam that is about 1.5″ – 2” wide and long enough to be able to glue all the way around the small foam circle. Glue the strip to the circle to form the top of the hat. Glue a length of 1/4″ wide ribbon around the hat top and glue it to the large foams circle. Glue the complete hat top to the large foam circle. Then, glue the hat to the top of the lid.
