Who wouldn’t want their own personal castle? Especially one covered in pom-poms! This color your own castle playhouse was such a fun addition to the fairy tale playdate my daughters recently had with a few friends. We set up the playhouse ahead of time, and then let the kids color it with markers, adhesive jewels and fairy tale stickers as a fun activity for the playdate. If you want, you can color some of the castle with markers prior to putting it together. It can be easier to color when the pieces are lying down flat.
Construct the castle according to the package directions.
You can also add flags to the top of your castle. To make these flags, I used a pennant from the gold glitter pennant banner and taped it to a pink striped straw. I then taped the flags to the inside of the castle tower.
Set out some markers, stickers, and jewels next to the castle and let your playdate guests add their special creative touch!
