One of our favorite ways to decorate a pumpkin is with (wait for is...) napkins! The possibilities for pattern and design are endless when using paper napkins. The bright greens of the tropical leaf printed napkins make this faux pumpkin pop with color! Simply use Mod Podge® on the pumpkin to adhere the napkin pieces. This will be a highlight to your Halloween and fall decor! Be sure to check out all of the other Mod Podge Pumpkin ideas!
Unfold and cut the square napkin into 4 strips. As far as painting the pumpkin white, I spray painted the pumpkin the night before crafting.
Apply Mod Podge® to the faux pumpkin using a foam brush. Apply to one section at a time so the adhesive won't dry before you apply the napkin.
Apply a bit more Mod Podge® to the back side of the napkin if needed. Press and smooth the napkin onto the pumpkin with your finger. Let dry for 20 minutes.
After the Mod Podge® is dry, apply a coat with a foam brush on top of the napkin. Allow to dry before you display.
