Star Wars™ fans have fallen in love with "The Child", otherwise known as Baby Yoda since he made his debut in The Mandalorian. We couldn't think of a btter character to feature in a Star Wars Themed Baby Shower? This cuter, younger version of the ancient Jedi makes a fabulous diaper cake. Diaper cakes are one of the cutest additions to any baby shower. They're not only the perfect for the mom-to-be gift but a great decoration! Learn how to make this themed Baby Yoda Diaper Cake in just a few easy steps!
First, roll up diapers individually and place a rubber band around each one.
Continue rolling diapers and then group multiple diapers together. Wrap the group of diapers together to create one tier. Use a larger, stretchy rubber band or baker's twine to hold the entire tier together.
Finish all 3 tiers and stack them one on top of the other. You'll need 2 larger tiers and one smaller tier on top to create Baby Yoda's body. Dress the diapers with a Toddler Boy's Star Wars™ Yoda Costume. Secure the velcro fasteners tightly around the diaper tiers.
Next, secure the green hood around the top tier. Insert more rolled diapers into the face hole until it is full. Tip: Place diapers horizontally into the head piece to fill up extra space.
Next, spray paint the saber of the Star Wars™ Plo Koon Lightsaber green since Yoda is known for his green light saber.
Finally, put the diaper cake on the table and place the light saber under the arm of the costume to complete the look. Stuff additional diapers in the sleeves to flesh out arms once on the table if you'd like.
