Choose the colors of felt that you'd like for your pennants, one piece of felt per flag. Fold a piece of felt in half horizontally, then use a pencil to make a small mark on the halfway point.

Open the felt back up and draw a line from the pencil mark to the corners on each opposite side. I lined up a piece of felt to draw along to help make my line straighter.

Step

Use scissors to cut on the pencil lines to cut out the flag.

Step

Decide what you want each flag to say and pop out the adhesive felt letters.

Step

Wrap the felt flag around the wood dowel once, then adhere with hot glue. Hold the flag in place for a minute to secure as the glue dries.

Step

Peel off the paper backing from the adhesive foam letters, then stick them in place on the flag.

Now your Basketball Pennant Flags are ready to be displayed! I placed mine inside a couple popcorn boxes that had foam and a rock inside for added support. They add a nice personalized touch to the Basketball Baby Shower and can be made in the party colors and with any sayings that you would like!
