Whether you are having a destination wedding or not, this easy DIY Beach Wedding Aisle Decor will bring the beachy vibe indoors. With just a few crafty supplies you can create aisle decor for your beach wedding that is sure to conjure feelings of sandy toes, warm breezes and the sound of waves crashing on the shore. So get that glue gun piping hot and let’s get to crafting!
Cut at least a 15” length of 5mm Natural Cording and tie the ends into a knot to form a loop.
Leaving the raffia attached, cut the Natural Raffia Door Curtain into four sections.
Gather one section of raffia and fold it in half to find the middle. Thread the raffia through the natural cording loop until you have reached the middle of the raffia.
Use a long length of 2.5” wide ribbon to tie around the entire section of raffia, making sure to tie the knot close to the cording loop. For this chair decor we used 2.5” Turquoise Satin Ribbon, but you can use whatever color matches your wedding! Cut off the string holding the raffia section together. Don’t forget to make sure that the ends of the raffia are even.
Next, hide that ribbon knot by using a hot glue gun to attach a White Starfish right on top of it. Now it’s time to embellish!! Glue seashells and Faux Pearl Craft Beads to the starfish and raffia to add a bit more of a beachy vibe.
Hang the loop on the top of a chair or pew to make a your wedding aisle ready to bring on the beach vibes.
